JobCentre Brunei advertising is mandatory for at least 2 weeks before applying for an Foreign Worker License (LPA).

Application For Foreign Worker License

You may proceed with application for Foreign Worker License at Department of Labour.

Applying For Foreign Worker License And Visa

Application For Foreign Worker License

Prepare Foreign Labour License Application and Address Confirmation Form to the Department of Labour (General Applicants) or via a Registered Employment Agent (New Applicants).

Payment Of Security Deposit

After receiving the approved License, applicants must pay the security deposit in cash, through a Banker's Guarantee, or with Jaminan Insurans/Takaful Pekerja Asing (JITPA).

Application For Visa

Proceed to the Department of Immigration & National Registration to submit their applications for a Foreign Worker Visa.

Medical Examination

After getting their visa and arriving in Brunei Darussalam, applicants can go to the Ministry of Health for the mandatory medical examination.

Application For Work Pass

After signing their employment contract, applicants can apply for their work pass at the Department of Immigration and National Registration using the same documents required for the Visa application.

Application For Green IC

After their work pass is approved, applicants can apply for their green IC card with Identification Card Application Form and a photo page Travel Document and an approved Work Pass from the Department of Immigration and National Registration (Original/ Photocopy).

Post-Approval Mandatory Inspection

After getting their visa and arriving in Brunei Darussalam, applicants can go to the Ministry of Health for the mandatory medical examination.
